Cloudy day
Just goes to show you (me) that even on a cloudy day after a short rain, a photo shoot can work. Coop was jumping around and then suddenly stopped and struck a pose. We call this his "male model" pose. It made for great texture and a smidge of color. Because of the steps and having to shoot up, there was no way to shoot the entire family in this exact spot but it made for a fun shot of Coop.

Looks and FEELS like fall
Emily and her family were actually able to wear sweaters and not be sweating and red cheeked! One of the easiest shoots I have had in a long time - very quick and simple. I think the result was fantastic. It helps when everyone in the family is so photogenic . . .and to quote a friend of mine, "it's just not fair".

It's all in their expressions
This is one of those shots that captured each child's personality in their expression . . .or at least that's what I thought and Nicole (mom) agreed and if she says so, it has to be true. This will not be one that she chooses to be the "family shot" . . .other than the not so perfect smiles, can you find the thing Nicole pointed out that is "messed up" in this shot. I (we) had a wonderful time shooting this family and look forward to many more times in the future.

Christmas 4x8 photo cards . . .
Here are some samples of "John designed" photo cards from last year. He tries to design each unique depending on the photos and text someone chooses. The photos are always from my photo shoots. Some folks have a certain style and color they prefer, which is great.
It's getting to be that time of year people!!
